Wall Street Opens Lower as Sell-Off Continues

The New York Stock Exchange (NYSE) opened lower on Monday, beginning the week with a relatively negative performance, following last week’s performance that was the worst in Wall Street in about three months.

Recent selling pressures due to fears about the rise in inflation rates have negatively impacted stock prices.

The Dow Jones Industrial Average was opened lower by about 0.1% and is currently down by about 0.40%.

The S&P 500 plunged by 0.3% and extended the losses to 0.45%.

Meanwhile, the Nasdaq Composite is down by about 0.66%.
