The New York Stock Exchange (NYSE) closed lower on Friday, as Wall Street saw fluctuations after the President of the United States, Donald Trump, and his wife, tested positive for COVID-19.
The Dow Jones Industrial Average lost 134.09 points, 0.5%, to close at 27,682.81 points, but rose by 1.9% for the week.
The S&P 500 index declined by 32.36 points, or 1%, to finish at 3,348.44 points, registering 1.5% weekly gains.
The Nasdaq Composite settled lower by 251.49 points, or 2.2%, at 11,075.02 points, adding 1.5% for the week.
