Wall Street Ends Monday Higher on Vaccine News

The main indices of the New York Stock Exchange (NYSE) closed higher on Monday, opening the week with a positive performance, supported by news about the success of new Coronavirus vaccines.

The Dow Jones Industrial Average finished higher by 327.79 points, or 1.12%, at 29,591.27 points.

The S&P 500 index added 20.05 points, or 0.56%, to close at 3,577.59 points.

The Nasdaq Composite gained 25.66 points, or 0.22%, to end at 11,880.63 points.
