Wall Street End the Week Mixed

The main indices on Wall Street showed a mixed performance this week, with investors focusing on earnings reports and economic indicators, and rising Treasury yields weighing on tech stocks.

The Dow Jones Industrial Average rose modestly by 15.53 points to hit a new record high closing level at 35,515.38 points, rising by 0.9% for the week.

The S&P 500 leveled up by 7.17 points, or 0.2%, and finished at 4,468.00 points, registering a weekly increase of 0.7%.

Both the benchmark indices managed to hit new record highs for the third day in a row, and hit intraday record highs earlier in the session.

Meanwhile, the tech-savvy Nasdaq Composite Index added 6.64 points to close at 14,822 points, limiting its weekly loss to 0.1%.
