The main indices of the New York Stock Exchange (NYSE) closed mostly higher on Monday, with Wall Street investors anticipating the outcomes of the next Federal Reserve policy meeting.
The S&P 500 and Nasdaq Composite indices closed at new record highs, with the latter rising for the sixth time in seven sessions, on the back of a strong performance by tech blue-chips.
Meanwhile, the Dows Jones Industrial Average, lost 85.85 points, or 0.25%, as it finished at 34,393.75 points.
The S&P 500 closed at 4,255.15 points, rising by 7.71 points, or 0.18%.
The NASDAQ rose by 104.72 points, or 0.74%, to 14,174.14 points.
