NYSE Finishes with Big Gains as Treasury Yields Stabilize

The New York Stock Exchange (NYSE) rose on Tuesday and finished with strong gains, as Treasury bond yields in the United States pulled back from their highest level in about 13 months, and with tech stocks rising following strong selling pressures.

The Dow Jones Industrial Average finished higher by 30 points, or 0.10%, at 31,832.74 points, giving up some its earlier gains.

The S&P 500 closed up by 54 points, or 1.42%, at 3,875.44 points.

Meanwhile, the Nasdaq Composite Index surged by 464.66 points, or 3.69%, to end the session at 13,073.82 points, recording its best daily performance since last November.
