The Nasdaq index, which is full in technology stocks, reached a record high at the open today, Tuesday, after Apple shares rose and following positive data for the manufacturing sector in China and Europe, which raised an atmosphere of optimism ahead of the US factory activity figures.
The Nasdaq rose by 75.51 points, equivalent to 0.64%, to reach 11850.96 points, and the Dow Jones Industrial Average advanced 9.56 points, or 0.03%, to record 28439.61 points, and the S & P500 index rose 7.13 points, or 0.20%, to 3,507.44 points.
