The Dow Jones Industrial Average gained 369.2 points, or 1.4%, and closed at 26,075.30.

The S&P 500 added 1% to settle at 3,185.04.

The Nasdaq Composite Index increased by 0.7% and closed at another record level at 10,617.44.
