European Stocks Finish Higher Recovering Some of its Recent Losses

European stocks opened the week with a positive performance and closed higher on Monday.

The STOXX Europe 600 index finished up by 0.29% at 440.32 points, with the banking sector leading the gains and rising by 2%.

The pan-European index lost about 0.8% last week.

The French CAC40 increased by 0.28%, while the German DAX leveled up by 0.11%.

Meanwhile, the UK’s FTSE100 gained 0.35%.
