Gold Rises Ahead of Fed’s Upcoming Meeting

Gold prices rose on Monday, supported by a fluctuating performance by the U.S. Dollar (USD) ahead of the Federal Reserve meeting.

The yellow metal futures for June delivery rose by $2.30, or 0.1%, to close at $1,780.10 per ounce.

Meanwhile, silver futures for May delivery gained 13 cents, or 0.5%, to finish at $26.21 per ounce.
