US And EU Resolve 17-Year Dispute Between Boeing and Airbus

European Commission President Ursula von der Leyen said the United States and the European Union had resolved a 17-year dispute over aircraft subsidies between Boeing and Airbus.

It comes after CNBC reported last week that the European Union is pressing the White House to reach an agreement to end trade tariffs imposed during Donald Trump’s presidency, in connection with the dispute between Boeing and Airbus that first surfaced in 2004.

The relationship between the European Union and the United States fell to its lowest level during the previous White House administration with Trump.
