Turkey’s Trade Deficit Rose by 34% in October

Data from the Turkish Statistical Institute showed that the country’s foreign trade deficit rose 34.4% year-on-year in October to $ 2.37 billion under the general trade system.

The institute stated that Turkey’s exports increased by 5.6% and imports rose 8.4% compared to October 2019. In the first ten months of the year, the trade deficit rose 76.2% to 40.27 billion dollars.
