Spanish PM sees “very difficult hours ahead”

Spanish Prime Minister Pedro Sánchez said on Wednesday that he sees “very difficult hours ahead.” Spanish Prime Minister Pedro Sánchez and Swedish Prime Minister Stefan Löfven met for talks before the European Union summit.

The economy of Spain is one of the most affected economies in the European Union from the Covid-19 pandemic and aims to get a third of the recovery fund in the form of grants.

“We have different views on the answer to the crisis, but we share a common goal,” Sanchez told a news conference at the Swedish government’s summer residence Harpsund south of Stockholm. According to Reuters.
