S&P 500 Soars to All-time High

The S&P 500 reached a new record high on Monday after Pfizer announced the Corona vaccine, which is more than 90% effective in preventing Covid-19, per Pfizer. At the time of writing, the index increased by 3.75% to 3,640.

Meanwhile, the Dow Jones Industrial Average reached an all-time high, up 5.3% at 29,823 and the Nasdaq Composite Index of 0.8% at 11979.

Among the sectors of the S&P 500 index, energy is increasing by more than 16% due to the increase in oil prices, and the financial sector gaining more than 8%.
