Oil prices rose on Monday, amid optimism about the prospects of the recovery of economic growth and the global demand for energy.
Brent crude futures for June delivery increased by 33 cents, or 0.52%, to finish at $63.28 per barrel.
Meanwhile, the U.S. West Texas Intermediate (WTI) crude futures gained 12 cents, or 0.2%, to close at $59.40 per barrel.
