The ECB rate decision on Thursday just came out. As expected, the central bank leaves the interest rates unchanged.

Later today, we will be looking at the June retail sales report from the United States. It’s expected to post a 5.0% rise after a 17.7% rise in May.

We will also get the weekly U.S. initial jobless claims report. A Bloomberg survey shows that the economists estimate 1.25M more workers likely filed jobless claims.

Adding to this group of data, we will also get the Philly Fed and ADP Canada employment report.

Later, speakers from the Fed’s Williams, Bostic and Evans are due later this evening. The Fed blackout begins Saturday.
