Italy Records 27 Deaths From The Coronavirus And 7230 New Cases

Italy recorded 27 new deaths linked to the Coronavirus today, down from 21 the previous day, while the total of new cases rose to 7,230 from 6,596, the Ministry of Health said.

Italy has recorded 128,163 deaths related to Covid-19 since the pandemic emerged in the country in February last year, the second-highest death toll in Europe after Britain and the eighth in the world.

Italy has recorded 4.38 million cases of infection to date.
