GBP/USD Surges to Highest Level in a Month

The British Pound (GBP) is rising on Monday against the declining U.S. Dollar (USD), supported by improved expectations in the UK and the anticipation for upcoming economic data.

The GBP/USD pair is trading higher for the day by 1.13% at 1.3988.

The pair has exceeded its best level in over a month, it has been moving today in a range between 1.3810 and 1.3993, mostly in the positive territory, after ending last week higher by about 0.91% at 1.3832.
