European stocks rose on Wednesday, as inflation fears eased with an improvement in the risk sentiment among investors.
The STOXX Europe 600 index finished marginally higher by a fraction of a point, to remain near its record highs.
The travel and leisure stocks rose by about 1% on recovery hopes, while the banking sector declined by 1.1%.
The French CAC40 index closed marginally higher by 0.02%.
On the other hand, the German DAX and the UK’s FTSE100 indices lost 0.09% and 0.04%, respectively.
