European stocks showed a mixed performance on Monday, opening the week amid hopes for new COVID-19 vaccines and the rising number of cases and renewed lockdown measures in many parts of the continent.
The STOXX Europe 600 closed marginally lower by 0.010%.
Meanwhile, the UK’s FTSE100 declined by 0.28%, while the French CAC40 and the German DAX lost 0.07% and 0.08%, respectively.
