According to the New York Mercantile Exchange, crude oil futures for October were traded at $42.95 a barrel, up 0.80%.
It was previously traded at session high at $43.04 a barrel. Crude oil may find support at $42.36 and resistance at $43.57.
The dollar index, which measures the performance of the greenback against a basket of six other major currencies, fell 0.38% to trade at $91.780.
Meanwhile, on the NYMEX, Brent oil price for November rose 0.18% to trade at $45.71 per barrel, while the spread difference between Brent and Crude Oil contracts stands at $2.76 a barrel.
