Confirmation Of easing Inflation Decline France during September

The consumer price index in France declined during September on a monthly basis, according to analysts’ expectations.

Final data issued by the French National Institute of Statistics and Economic Studies showed today, Wednesday, that the inflation rate in France recorded -0.5% during the month of September on a monthly basis, compared with -0.1 in the previous August.

Analysts had expected that the inflation rate in France would reach -0.3% during August.

The euro is currently trading at $ 1.1728, up 0.14% against the US dollar.
