Russia to restart Nord Steam 1 gas flow at reduced level

On Tuesday, Russia announced that it is expected to restart Nord Stream 1 gas flows on Thursday as planned.

The sources, speaking on condition of anonymity because of the sensitivity of the issue, told Reuters the pipeline was expected to resume operation on time, but at less than its capacity of some 160 million cubic metres (mcm) per day”.

The market mood remains positive following this development and the S&P 500 Index was last seen rising 1.5% on a daily basis.
