The government of Ukraine ends restrictions on the export of corn and sunflower oil

The Ukrainian government website reported on Friday that the government has removed the requirement to obtain export licenses for corn and sunflower oil for the 2021-2022 season.

Ukraine had suspended exports of some grains, salt, sugar, meat and livestock as it battled an invasion by Russian military forces, and loaned licenses to export wheat, corn and sunflower oil.

Agriculture officials say stocks of corn and sunflower oil are too large and there is no need to limit exports.
