A Marginal Decline in The Unemployment Rate in The Euro area in November

The unemployment rate in the eurozone declined marginally in November, that is, before the start of the Omicron outbreak, which caused lockdowns in a number of countries on the continent, due to its rapid spread.

And data from the statistics agency Eurostat revealed on Monday that the unemployment rate fell by 0.1% to 7.2% in November, on a monthly basis, according to expectations.

The data showed that the total number of unemployed people in the euro area recorded 11.82 million people in November, which is a decrease of about 222 thousand people compared to October levels.
