US stocks rose after NVIDIA Group, the world’s most valuable chip maker, reported better-than-expected third-quarter results and gave a positive outlook, Dow futures rose 72 points, or 0.2%, and S&P futures rose 500 by 0.3% and Nasdaq 100 futures are up 0.5%, trading was choppy this week with the major averages mostly swinging around the flat line, but the S&P and Nasdaq remain on track for a positive week.
Nvidia shares rose more than 8% in pre-market trading after outperforming their quarterly results and issuing bullish revenue forecasts for the current quarter ending in January. Games, 42% increase in sales.
