China to implement RCEP’s trade pact on schedule

China will take the necessary measures with all member states of the Regional Comprehensive Economic Partnership (RCEP) to implement and enforce the trade pact as scheduled.

According to the Ministry of Commerce, this year marks the thirteenth anniversary of establishing dialogue relations between China and the Association of Southeast Asian Nations (ASEAN).

The member states held a series of video meetings for economic and trade ministers on East Asia cooperation from Sept 13 to 15, for setting the scene in the sectors of economy and trade for the leaders’ meeting on East Asia cooperation scheduled for this year.

China works with the relevant parties to deepen top notch cooperation under the Belt and Road Initiative and boost confidence concerning COVID-19 control and economic development.
