U.S. Factory Orders Rise 1.5% in June

Factory orders in the United States increased by 1.5% in June, official data by the U.S. Department of Commerce showed on Tuesday.

Orders for durable goods rose 0.9%, while nondurable goods orders grew by 2.1%.

Capital goods orders, excluding aircraft and military equipment, went up by 0.7% in June.

The readings show slight increases compared with the initial estimates.
