Europe’s stock markets closed mostly unchanged on Tuesday but maintained an upward trend for the third consecutive session.
The STOXX Europe 600 index finished higher by 0.13 points, or 0.03%, at a new record high of 460.96 points.
Over the past three sessions, the pan-European index recovered its earlier losses by rising by a little over 2%, turning to a gain of 1.79% month-to-date.
The French CAC40 index and the German DAX inched down marginally by 0.01% each, with the UK’s FTSE100 also closed nearly unchanged.
