Britain is Considering Easing Travel Restrictions For Those Who Have Received The Corona Vaccine

Britain is considering easing travel restrictions for those who have received the two doses of the Covid-19 vaccine, in a move to placate airlines that threaten legal action against the government’s stringent restrictions on travel abroad.

Pressure is mounting on the aviation sector, as companies seek to ease restrictions before July and the peak travel season, during which they reap the most profits, but Britain adheres to quarantine conditions that impede travel.

Ryanair, the largest European airline, is expected to file documents to start legal action against Britain over its travel policy.

But Britain is now hinting at the possibility of easing restrictions.

The British Ministry of Transport stated that it is studying how to use vaccinations on incoming flights. More than half of adults in Britain received both doses of the vaccine, far outperforming vaccination rates in the rest of Europe.
