India Records a Daily Record Increase in Covid-19 Infections

The Indian Ministry of Health data said that India recorded a record daily increase in infections with the Coronavirus, amounting to 386,452 Friday, April 30, while the number of deaths from the virus jumped 3,498 during the past twenty-four hours.

According to Reuters statistics, India has added 7.7 million cases to the total number of cases since the end of February, when the second wave gained momentum.

In contrast, it took India nearly 6 months to add 7.7 million previous cases.
