XAU/USD Near Two-Week Peaks

Gold rose and reached peaks during the early European session today, with the bulls making a fresh attempt to break a strong barrier near $1.745-46.

After falling yesterday, the yellow metal managed to regain some positive momentum on Thursday and the US dollar tried to take advantage of the modest rebound the previous day from its two-week low but instead fell early in Thursday’s trading, providing support for dollar-denominated commodities.
