Democrats Don’t Agree on All Relief Bill Aspects

U.S. president Donald Trump said on Wednesday that his administration and Democrats in Congress were far apart in their efforts to agree on a coronavirus relief bill, as reported by Reuters.

And according to Reuters, Trump accused Democrats of not taking care of Americans with their proposals, and said when Democratic leaders come together to do that, relief efforts could move forward.

On Tuesday, Trump said he did not support everything in the Senate Republican coronavirus relief legislation, “There are also things that I very much support. But we’ll be negotiating. It’s sort of semi-irrelevant because the Democrats come with their needs and asks and the Republicans go with theirs,” he added.
