Wall Street Rises on Stimulus Hopes

Wall Street rose on Tuesday, supported by recent remarks by the President of the United States, Donald Trump, and the Speaker of the House of Representatives, Nancy Pelosi, suggested that there could be a new stimulus package before the upcoming elections.

The Dow Jones Industrial Average gained 113.37 points, or 0.4%, and closed at 28,308.79 points.

S&P 500 added 16.2 points, or 0.47%, and finished at 3,443.12 points.

Meanwhile, the Nasdaq Composite closed higher by 37.61 points, or 0.3%, at 11,516.49 points.
