The New York Stock Exchange (NYSE) is showing a mixed performance on Tuesday, following the release of inflation data for March and halting the distribution of the Johnson & Johnson coronavirus single-dose vaccine.
The Dow Jones Industrial Average gave up a record high ad decline by around 0.26% to 33,660 points.
Meanwhile, the S&P 500 and the Nasdaq Composite indices rose by 0.17% and 0.63%, respectively, supported by the tech sector gains.
Earlier today, data showed an increase in the consumer price index (CPI) by 1.6% on an annual basis, registering its highest increase in about eight and a half years.
