Wall Street Mixed but Nasdaq Hits New All-Time High

Wall Street showed a mixed performance on Wednesday, as markets continue to react to changes in interest rates and the inflation rate.

The Dow Jones Industrial Average lost 71.34 points, or 0.21%, to close at 33,874.24 points.

The S&P 500 declined by 4.60 points, or 0.11%, finishing at 4,241.84 points.

Losses by the two main indices follow two consecutive rises.

Meanwhile, the NASDAQ Composite Index gained 18.47 points, or 0.13%, and settled at 14,271.73 points, to register a new record high level for the 16th time this year.
