The Dow Jones Industrial Average finished higher by 0.36% at 34,996.18 points, nearing an unprecedented level of 35,000 points, and finishing at a new record high.
Meanwhile, the S&P 500 surged by 0.35% to a record 4,384.63 points, while the Nasdaq Composite closed at 14,733.24 points, gaining 0.21%.
