The New York Stock Exchange (NYSE) could be rising to new record highs, as evident by today’s rise of the U.S. stock futures on Monday, with the futures on the S&P 500 rising by 0.3%.
In addition, most stock markets performed positively today, signaling that Wall Street might be up for another record-breaking performance following the long weekend in celebration of Labor Day.
Last week, the Nasdaq Composite managed to close at a new all-time high record closing level for the 35th time this year, extending its weekly rise to 1.6%.
The S&P 500 index logged a 0.6% weekly rise, while the Dow Jones Industrial Average closed lower for the week by 0.24%.
