NYSE Closes Thursday on Huge Losses

The New York Stock Exchange (NYSE) closed lower on Thursday, with technology stocks leading the decline.

The Dow Jones Industrial Average dropped by 807.77 points, or 2.8%, to finish at 28,292.73.

The S&P 500 index also plunged by 3.5% and closed at 3,455.06.

Bearing the highest losses, the Nasdaq Composite finished lower by 598.34 points, or 5%, at 11,458.10 points.
