WHO’s Tedros: Coronavirus Pandemic Still Out of Control in Most Parts of The World

World Health Organization (WHO) Director-General Dr Tedros Adhanom Ghebreyesus said earlier on Thursday that the coronavirus pandemic is not under control in most parts of the world and it is getting worse.

“We know that when countries take a comprehensive approach, the COVID-19 outbreak can be brought under control,” Tedros said and urged the international community to follow the lead of the countries that succeeded in controlling the coronavirus disease.

So far, over 12 million cases were confirmed around the world, with total death toll has risen to over 548K.
