The US Dollar (USD) rose across the board on Wednesday, supported by an increased demand, amid a surge in new COVID-19 cases in many countries.
The Dollar Index (DXY), which measures the USD performance against a basket of six major currencies, is up by 0.55% for the day at 93.45.
The index has been moving throughout the day in the positive territory, in a range between 93.05 and 93.65, after closing Tuesday at 92.94.
