Treasury yields in the United States rose on Friday, after declining yesterday following the release of the Federal Reserve policy statement on Wednesday, which indicated maintaining low interest rates close to 0% until 2023.
Return on the 10-year Treasury bonds rose by 1.2 basis points to 0.694%, rising by 2.6 basis points for the week.
As for the 30-year bond yield, an increase of 2.5 basis points to 1.453%, meant soaring for the week by 3.5 basis points.
Yields for the 2-year note went up by 0.6 basis point to 0.139%, rising by one basis point for the week.
