US Stock Futures Rise With Ahead of Inflation Data

The futures contracts for US stock indices recorded a slight increase today, Friday morning, before the opening of trading, after falling yesterday evening, as the markets’ fears about the new Omicron parameter subsided, at the same time that investors awaited the report of the US Consumer Price Index (CPI) for the month of November, which may witness a rise Annual inflation to 6.8%, the highest level in nearly 40 years.

The futures contracts for the Dow Jones rose by 0.12% and settled at the level of 35,796 points, while the futures contracts for the S&P 500 industrial index rose by 0.25% before the opening of the US stock trading, and recorded 4,678 points.

At the same time, the futures contracts for the Nasdaq Composite Index rose by about 44 points, or by 0.27%, before the trading session, and recorded about 16,193 points.
