US stock index futures fell slightly in trading on Thursday, after major indexes posted gains for the third day yesterday, as traders are betting that the economic impacts of the Omicron pivot will not be as severe as initially thought.
The Dow Jones Industrial Average futures declined 109 points, the S&P 500 futures declined 0.3%, and the Nasdaq 100 futures declined 0.4%.
Shares got a boost after Pfizer and BioNTech said Wednesday morning that a booster dose of their vaccine offers a high level of protection against the new omicron variant.
