Treasury yields in the United States increased significantly on Friday, amid expectations of a rise in inflation in the U.S.
Return on the 10-year Treasury bonds rose by 4.2 basis points to 1.199%, nearing its highest levels since March 2020
For the week, the benchmark U.S. Treasury noted saw an increase in yields by 3.1 basis points.
The yield on the 30-year bonds went up by 6 basis point to 2.003%, reaching its highest level since February, increasing by 3 basis points for the week.
Meanwhile, the two-year note return remained nearly unchanged at daily and weekly basis at 0.111%.
