Official data showed Turkey’s industrial production rose 10.2% year-on-year in October, continuing to rise for the fifth consecutive month in recovery from a slowdown caused by anti-Coronavirus pandemic closures until June.
Compared to the previous month, industrial production increased 1.1% in October, according to the Turkish Statistical Institute.
Turkey recorded its first infection with the virus in March, followed by the suspension of operations in many factories, with production declining 31.4% in April and 19.9% in May, and then the recovery begins in June.
