The US Financial Times revealed on Wednesday that the United States intends to announce the postponement of the trade agreement with Britain, under which the tariffs on steel and aluminum coming from Britain, which had been imposed by former US President Donald Trump, would be removed.
The American newspaper pointed out that the reason for the postponement of the trade agreement with Britain caused the United States’ concerns about Britain’s threats to change the trading rules in Northern Ireland after Britain’s exit from the European Union.
It should be noted that former US President Donald Trump signed controversial executive decisions imposing large tariffs on US imports of steel and aluminum under the pretext of protecting US national security, which raised global concerns about the outbreak of a trade war between the United States and major countries.
