Sunak: Brexit Trade Talks See Significant Progress

Significant progress has been achieved in trade talks between the United Kingdom (UK) and the European Union (EU), according to the British Minister of Finance, Rishi Sunak.

“Prime Minister Boris Johnson recently spoke with European Commission President Ursula von der Leyen.

“The prime minister set out that, while some progress had been made in recent discussions, significant differences remain in a number of areas, including the so-called level playing field and fish, according to a recent statement by Johnson’s office.

Both parties agreed that their negotiating teams would continue talks in London, beginning on Monday, in order to redouble efforts to reach a deal.
