Stable flow of Russian gas to Europe via Ukraine as Nord Stream 1 continues to shut down

Operational data showed Russian gas supplies to Europe through Ukraine were stable on Tuesday morning, while gas flow through the Nord Stream 1 pipeline remained at zero.

Ukraine’s transport system data showed that Russian gas flows to Slovakia from Ukraine through the Veleke Kapusani border point amounted to 36.9 million cubic meters on Tuesday, almost unchanged from Monday’s level of 36.8 million cubic meters.

Russia’s Gazprom said it will ship 42.4 million cubic meters of gas to Europe via Ukraine on Tuesday, in line with the supply flow rate in the past few days.

Flows through the Nord Stream 1 pipeline, which runs under the Baltic Sea from Russia to Germany, remained at zero.
