Saudi Crown Prince: The Kingdom in Talks to Sell 1% of Aramco

The Saudi Crown Prince Mohammed bin Salman, in televised remarks on Tuesday, that the kingdom is in discussions to sell one percent of Saudi Aramco to a global energy company.

Prince Mohammed added that Aramco, the world’s largest oil company that was listed on the Saudi Stock Exchange in 2019, may sell more shares to international investors within the next year or two.

He said, without elaborating, that talks are underway to acquire 1% by a leading global energy company in an agreement he described as important and will boost Aramco’s sales in a major country.
